Children's Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is in compliance with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”).
Persons under the age of 13 may only use our Services with authorization from their Educational Institution and a Parent or Guardian.
Our Services are designed to be provided at the request of a Teacher or an Education Institution. When a Teacher or an Education Institution agrees to our

, it represents to us that they have obtained authorization from a Parent or Guardian to provide us, or permit us to gather, the limited personal information of the child/student described in the next subsection, according to applicable laws regarding notification and consent to use of student information and educational records.
Information we collect from users
Information provided by Teachers and Students.
When a child/student creates an account manually, the information required are the name, a username and a password. The students’ usernames are used by this Service as internal identifiers to link students with their corresponding teachers. Also, names and usernames are used by Teachers to identify the answers provided by the students during the use of this Service.
Children/students have the option of creating accounts by signing in with their school or personal Gmail accounts from Google. The information provided by the Google Sign In process are the students’ names and emails. The emails provided are used as the students’ usernames by this Service as previously specified, and to help Teachers identify the answers provided by the students during the use of this Service.
Also, teachers will require to create classes and their students will join them using their usernames, or emails in case of Google Accounts. Teachers will have the option of importing their classes and rosters from Google Classroom. The information provided by the Google Classroom Import process will include the classes' names, and the students' names and emails. As mentioned above, the students’ emails are used by this Service as internal identifiers to link students with their corresponding teachers and classes.

Additionally, we collect the answers provided by the student during the Teacher use of the Services. We may collect different types of child/student personal information if during the use of the Services, a Teacher asks students to answer questions about personal situations or matters. Teachers have complete access to all their students’ data collected by our Services and have the means of deleting it at any given time.
Information provided automatically.
When students use our Services, we collect information about their browser and device type with the sole purpose of adjusting the appearance of our content for a more suitable experience when using our Services. In the case of manually created accounts, we also use cookies (information stored on the users’ device) to store their own usernames and passwords in order to facilitate future access to our Services. We DO NOT collect personal information from the child’s device nor information about the child’s location.
Use of children's information
The information we collect from students has the sole purpose of aiding Teachers in their daily teaching activities.
We do not use the students’ information to:
• Engage in targeted advertising of any kind.
• Create a student profile.
• Sell it, rent it or lease it to third parties.
• Disclose it to any entity outside Clicker Monster, unless required by a government entity in compliance with applicable laws.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will immediately proceed to delete that information or seek the required parent’s consent.
If during our Support Services, we discover or are notified that we received an email from a child under 13, we will kindly respond the student to re-direct the inquiry through a Teacher and immediately after we will proceed to delete the information received from the child.
Parents, Guardians, Teachers or Education Institutions may request that we partially or completely delete information we have collected about their students, and we will immediately comply with such request. Adult’s Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy is also designed to protect the privacy and information of our adult users (Teachers, Instructors, Professors or any member of an Educational Institution).
Information we collect from adult users
Information provided by the adult user.
In order to use our Services, the user creates an account for which we ask for a name, an email and a password. Also, Teachers can create accounts by signing in with their school or personal Gmail accounts from Google. The information provided by the Google Sign In process are names and emails. We do not ask for information about the school, district or entity the user works for.
Information provided automatically.
When adults use our Services, we collect information about their browser and device type, with the sole purpose of adjusting the appearance of our content for a more suitable experience when using our Services. We also use cookies (information stored on the users’ device) to store the credentials needed to facilitate the user’s future access to our Services. We also collect limited information about the user’s location (state and country), for record-keeping purposes. We DO NOT collect personal information from the user’s device.
Credit Card Information.
Payments made to us are handled by PayPal. PayPal manages transactions securely and does not share your credit card details with us. See PayPal’s Privacy Policy for more details on how they handle your information.
How we use the information we collect from adult users
We do not sell, rent or lease your information to third parties. We only share your information with other parties under the following situations:
• We may share your personal information with our authorized service providers that perform certain activities on our behalf. These providers may use your information only for the activities specifically required by us and are not allowed to share or disclose that information in any way.
• In response to a subpoena or similar investigation request, a court order, or a request for cooperation from a law enforcement or other government agency; to establish or exercise our legal rights; to defend against legal claims; or as required by law. • In the event that all or a portion of our company or its assets are acquired by or merged with a third party, personal information that we have collected from users would be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by that third party.
• We may send emails for purposes of confirming email addresses, payments, or to reply to email, telephone or other communications from you. We may occasionally send emails for marketing purposes, from which you have an option of opting out.
How we protect your personal information
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information when using our Services, your information is protected online as well as offline.
When we collect sensitive information from you, that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (e.g., customer service) are granted access to personal information.
